Jamison Hickman founded Brush Masters Paint Co. in 2024 after more than 13 years with a vision to build a painting company founded on quality, integrity, and exceptional results. What started as an apprenticeship grew into a passion for the trade and ultimately the drive to create a company dedicated to doing things the right way.
Over the years, we’ve learned that true success comes from delivering the best possible outcome for every customer. That’s why we take pride in going above and beyond on every project—focusing on precision, professionalism, and craftsmanship that exceeds expectations. Our goal is simple: to leave every customer thrilled with the finished product and confident they chose the right team. We’re not a franchise, we’re not a chain, and we’re not one of those out-of-town operations that rolls through Nevada County chasing jobs and disappearing once the work is done.
We live here. Our kids go to school here. We shop at the same grocery stores, eat at the same restaurants, and run into our customers at hardware stores and Little League games. We’ve painted hundreds of homes and businesses across Nevada County and Placer County over the past 13 years. Some of our customers have hired us for two or three different projects — a fresh interior paint job, then exterior work a couple of years later, and maybe a deck stain or cabinet refinish after that.
